.... Items of interest: Ready to get out of the city, but live close enough to enjoy all its comforts? Then head to Timberlane. This apartment community is located almost right on the Lee County line just west of Mooreville on Hwy. 178, making it very easy and quick to get to either Tupelo or Fulton. It’s far enough into the country to give you a quiet atmosphere. It lies inside the Mooreville school district.
.... How to get there: From Tupelo, take Highway 78 east out of town. Follow Hwy. 78 to the Mooreville exit (Hwy. 371), and hang right. Follow Hwy. 371 south to the four-way stop, which is the intersection with Hwy. 178. Turn left, or east, and follow Hwy. 178 for about four miles. Timberland will on the right just before you get to the Lee-Itawamba counties line. Or, if you’re on Main Street in Tupelo, just follow Main street east all the way through town. Main Street becomes Hwy. 178 past where Hwy. 6 veers right toward Plantersville. Follow Hwy. 178 about 10 miles; Timberland will be on the right.
